Dr. Mick graduated from NWCC/NWHSU in 1986 and went on to complete his radiology residency at LACC in 1989. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Radiology (DACBR) and is a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors (FICC). He served for 17 years as a full time employee of Northwestern College of Chiropractic/NW Health Sciences University – Academic & clinical radiology (1989-2006). He also served as Director of NWHSU Radiological Consultation Services.
He has been a consulting Chiropractic Radiologist with St. Paul Radiology since 1992, LifeScan Stand-Up/Upright MRI since 2004, with Fort Wayne Radiology from 2000-2006 and with 14 imaging centers and 8 radiology groups, since 1990. Dr. Mick is also the President of Imaging Consultants, Inc., a private radiology practice.
In addition, he has presented numerous lectures on diagnostic imaging, including national and international speaking engagements as well as written numerous publications, including peer reviewed/indexed journal and textbook chapters on radiology. Dr. Mick has also been involved on various editorial boards for chiropractic & radiology journals. He also is a consultant to various board examinations within chiropractic and has served as an expert witness in the area of diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Mick’s other accomplishments include past President of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology (ACCR) and American Chiropractic Association Council on Diagnostic Imaging (CDI). He has been awarded the NWHSU Faculty Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice – 2005, the MCA Educator of the Year – 2004 (Nominee in 2002 and 2003), and the MCA President’s Award for Service to the Profession – 2002. He is also newly appointed to the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (ACBR).
Dr. Mick resides in St. Paul, MN and is the proud father of 10 children and one grandchild.
